Responsibilities Lead and supervise crew members during climbing, pruning, planting, hardscaping, and grounds maintenance projects to ensure safety and quality standards are upheld. Coordinate daily project schedules, assign tasks effectively, and monitor progress to meet deadlines efficiently. Operate and maintain groundskeeping and landscaping equipment safely and responsibly, including company vehicles. Oversee tree care operations such as climbing, pruning, removal, and plant identification to promote healthy growth and landscape aesthetics. Must be familiar with big wood chippers, stump grinders, articulating wheel loaders, spider lifts, crane assisted removals and other heavy equipment operations Foster a positive team environment by providing mentorship, training on equipment operation, safety procedures, and technical skills related to horticulture and landscaping. Requirements Demonstrated supervising or crew management experience within tree care industries. Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture practices, tree care techniques including climbing arborist procedures. Ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment safely; Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively while maintaining safety protocols. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles; clean driving record preferred. Excellent communication skills combined with outdoor work experience; physically capable of performing demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
