YEAR-ROUND POSITION - NO SEASONAL LAYOFF
We are a 200-unit historic town home community in Mt. Washington, PA. The Grounds Crew Team Member maintains and enhances the historic outdoor landscape. Qualifications- Must be an energetic self-starter
- Be a team player, cooperate with other staff
- Be dependable, take initiative, follow guidelines, and fulfill responsibilities
- Be flexible, adapt to the unexpected, be pleasant and courteous at all times
- Desire to learn and grow Responsibilities
- Regular landscape maintenance (mowing, trimming, leaf clean up, snow removal, etc.)
- Maintain existing plantings, suggest and install new plantings in common areas
- Install select hardscapes in common areas
- Clean and maintain outdoor recreation areas (Trails, playground, athletic surfaces, etc.)
- Participate in the management and upkeep of Chatham Woods
- Reclaim lawns and plantings affected by paving, concrete, and construction projects
- Install flowers annually in select garden beds
- Prune and maintain shrubs and ornamental trees throughout the village
- Availability in emergency waterline breaks to assist in exposing waterline for repair
- During winter: Weekend on-call during winter storms for plowing, shoveling, and salting
- During winter: Participate in minor indoor maintenance and painting projects
- Other responsibilities as assigned Certifications/Licenses
- Reliable transportation, valid Driver's license, and US citizenship required
- Residential landscaping experience preferred Compensation and Benefits
