Duties include:
sod laying, installing trees, shrubs and lawn; trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, and sprinkler installation.
Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50 lbs, work in adverse weather conditions & pass a post-employment drug test paid by employer. The employer will provide all needed on-the-job training. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Work will be performed in multiple worksites throughout Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, Butler County, Pennsylvania, and Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. Workers are responsible for daily transportation to and from the designated meeting site. Employer will then provide each worker with daily transportation among the worksites in Allegheny County, Butler County, and Westmoreland County. The employer will provide lodging to workers at a cost not to exceed $70 per week, if requested. The employer will offer up to 40 hours of work per week, Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm (excluding breaks). Work on weekends may be required in place of another day. Workers are needed 10/01/2026 to 12/01/2026. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. Workers will be paid no less than $18.69 per hour. Overtime hours, if required, will be paid at $28.04 per hour. The employer will use a single workweek as standard for computing wages due. Workers will be paid Friday (weekly) by check. The employer will make all deductions from workers' paychecks required by law. The employer will make a deduction not to exceed $70 per worker per week if employer-provided housing is elected. If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported the worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.78 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 with receipts. Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees).
