Overview Semper Green Landscaping is hiring for the position of Landscape Maintenance Laborer. We are a high-end landscaping company that provides a range of landscaping services to a wide variety of clients. Duties The position of Landscape Maintenance Laborer involves pruning, mulching, lawn re-seeding, irrigation, etc. This position is physically demanding and requires work in all types of weather. We do not mow lawns. Previous work in landscaping is a plus but not required. Conduct landscape maintenance activities including shrub spring and fall cleanups, shrub and tree pruning, mulching and edging. Operate hand tools and power tools such as trimmers, blowers, and chainsaws. Requirements Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating hand tools and power equipment safely Basic understanding of landscape maintenance techniques Experience in landscaping projects including pruning and mulching. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Strong attention to detail with excellent physical stamina for tasks involving lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Driver's license required! Knowledge of irrigation systems and general maintenance practices is a plus Join us to help maintain landscapes while developing your skills in an environment that values your dedication. We work 10 hour days/5 days a week. Some Saturdays are possible. Medical benefits begin after 90 days with additional benefits after one year. This position is for Landscape Maintenance Laborer. However, we are always looking for qualified individuals that may be a good fit for the Landscape Maintenance Foreman position.
