Duties Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and pruning to keep grounds tidy and healthy Operate groundskeeping and landscaping equipment including power tools, lawn mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers to support proper care and horticultural practices Support planting projects by preparing soil, planting new greenery, and mulching beds for optimal growth Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and ensuring proper watering schedules are followed Apply pesticides or fertilizers following safety protocols to promote plant health while minimizing environmental impact Perform groundskeeping duties such as leaf removal, debris cleanup, and general site upkeep to enhance landscape appearance Skills Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment operation and maintenance Experience with landscape maintenance, gardening, and groundskeeping practices Proficiency in using hand tools like shovels, pruners, rakes, and power tools safely Ability to identify plants and trees accurately for proper care and pest management Knowledge of pesticide management procedures adhering to safety standards Familiarity with irrigation systems installation, troubleshooting, and repair Strong understanding of lawn care techniques including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aeration Ability to follow safety protocols diligently during outdoor work activities Prior outdoor work experience demonstrating reliability and physical stamina Skills in operating landscaping equipment such as trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, and other grounds maintenance tools This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to build their skills in landscaping while contributing to beautiful outdoor environments.
