The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has a strong understanding of plants and lawns, and can recognize common signs of plant disease, pests, and lawn problems. This position involves hands-on landscape maintenance, including pruning, trimming, weeding, planting, lawn care, and maintaining the overall appearance and health of landscaped areas. Trim, prune, and shape shrubs, bushes, ornamental plants, and trees Remove weeds from planting beds, walkways, and landscaped areas Maintain flower beds, gardens, and landscaped grounds Identify common plant diseases, lawn diseases, pests, and signs of plant stress Recognize unhealthy or dying plants and recommend appropriate treatment or replacement Perform seasonal planting and garden cleanups Watering and fertilizing flower planters Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance of all properties Safely operate hand tools and landscaping equipment Monitor properties and report irrigation, drainage, plant health, or other landscape issues Work independently while maintaining high-quality standards
Pay:
$23.00 - $24.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
