Job Overview We are seeking a dependable and experienced Lawn Care Maintenance Crew Leaders to join our team and lead our lawn care crew members in delivering outstanding service to our client. We are looking for a motivated professional who takes pride in producing high-quality work, leading by example and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lawn care maintenance, excellent leadership skills, and a stellar commitment to customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of lawn care technicians to achieve high performance and efficiency. Plan and delegate daily tasks and responsibilities to their team members. Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure adherence to quality standards and company guidelines. Provide training and support to team members on best practices, safety protocols, and equipment usage. Maintain and manage lawn care equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition and properly serviced. Communicate effectively with clients to address their needs, concerns, and feedback in a professional manner. Monitor inventory levels of lawn care supplies on their assigned lawn maintenance truck and request new supplies be ordered as needed. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during service delivery promptly and effectively. Prepare and maintain accurate reports on team performance and daily jobs completed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in lawn care maintenance or landscaping, with at least 4 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Strong knowledge of lawn care techniques, equipment, and best practices. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team. Exceptional communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and make informed decisions under pressure. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in horticulture, landscaping, or a related field. Experience with advanced landscaping techniques and equipment. Knowledge of local plant species and soil conditions.
