Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape Technician to join our team. As a Landscape Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces for residential and commercial properties. This is a hands-on role that requires knowledge of various landscaping techniques and the ability to operate a range of tools and equipment.

Duties:

• Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal to ensure the health and aesthetics of trees
• Conduct groundskeeping tasks such as planting, mulching, weeding, and fertilizing
• Operate mowers, trimmers, edgers, and other equipment to maintain lawns and landscapes
• Install and maintain landscape features such as flower beds, shrubs, and hardscapes
• Utilize hand tools to build and repair fences, decks, pathways, and other outdoor structures
• Assist with irrigation system installation and maintenance
• Provide snow plowing services during winter months
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet client expectations

Skills:

• Proficiency in tree trimming techniques and safe operation of related equipment
• Knowledge of groundskeeping practices including planting, mulching, weeding, and fertilizing
• Experience operating mowers, trimmers, edgers, and other landscaping equipment
• Ability to use hand tools effectively for construction and repair tasks
• Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues
• Familiarity with hardscape installation such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls
• Capability to perform snow plowing duties during winter months
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
