Full time Golf Course Maintenance is needed at Eagle's Pointe Golf Club in Bluffton, South Carolina. The Golf Course Maintenance department is responsible for maintaining the grass, turf, grounds, and plants, at the courses using standard manual and power lawn care equipment. Duties include but are not limited to mowing and weeding grass, laying sod, planting grass and fertilizing. Some experience using lawnmowers, leaf blowers, edger, and trimmers is preferred, but not required. Qualifications The ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds, and to sit, stand, kneel and walk for long periods, is required Qualified applicants will be comfortable working outdoors for long periods in varied weather conditions Applicants must be comfortable with the regular use of hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge and brush trimmers, and axes Some previous experience as a landscaper is preferred, but not required Experience operating powered equipment such as mowers, tractors, leaf blowers, chainsaws preferred Successful pre-employment background check Excellent benefits packages for full time employees to include, health, vision, dental, life insurance, 401(k) with employer match and paid time off.
