TECHNICIAN I

City of Clinton, South Carolina Do you enjoy working outdoors and taking pride in keeping your community looking its best? The City of Clinton is seeking a dependable and hardworking Landscaping Technician I to join our team! This position performs a variety of landscaping, grounds maintenance, and beautification duties throughout the City, helping maintain public spaces that our residents, employees, and visitors enjoy every day.

What You'll Do:

Perform mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, and general grounds maintenance Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, trees, and landscaped areas Operate lawn and landscaping equipment and tools Assist with cleanup, beautification, and seasonal landscaping projects Perform routine maintenance and care of assigned equipment Work outdoors in varying weather conditions Assist with other departmental duties and special projects as needed

What We're Looking For:

Dependable and able to work as part of a team Willing and able to perform physically demanding outdoor work Knowledge of basic landscaping or grounds maintenance practices is preferred Experience operating landscaping and lawn maintenance equipment is a plus Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record, if required for assigned duties Why Work for the City of Clinton?
