Job Description
Yeamans Hall Club is currently seeking full-time and part-time golf course maintenance team members to carry out the daily tasks of setting up the golf course. Some of the daily tasks include but are not limited to mowing greens, tees, fairways and rough, fly mowing, raking bunkers, course setup, aerification, irrigation and drainage installation and maintenance, sodding, mulch/pinestraw installation, pruning and tree work and assisting our mechanic with equipment maintenance. Homeowner landscape construction, installation and maintenance will also be performed when needed. The ideal candidate possesses a go-getter mentality with a strong eye for detail with each task they perform. Having prior golf course or landscaping experience is preferred but not required and willing to train the right candidate with our expectations. All applicants are required to take a pre-employment background check and drug screening prior to employment. The position requires having physical stamina and the ability to lift at least 50 lbs. The average full time work schedule for the position is Monday-Friday and every other weekend (12 days on, 2 days off) where the hours average out to be ~48-50 hours one week and 40 hours the following week but subject to change. We require all staff to work when golf tournaments are scheduled even on weekends off and work on holidays (with holiday pay). Golf course maintenance works in all weather conditions and has to adapt to change based on many factors.
