Description:
Job Summary The Floral Crew Member is responsible for the installation, care, and maintenance of annual flower beds, gardens, and other decorative landscape features. This role includes following design plans, preparing and amending beds, ensuring plant health, and maintaining a clean and attractive appearance of assigned areas. The position requires working outdoors year-round in various weather conditions, often as part of a team, and performing physically strenuous tasks. Core Values Culture of Safety

  • Treating Others as we want to be treated Duties/Responsibilities Install flowers, bulbs, ground covers, and other foliage according to landscape design plans.
Prepare and amend soil in flowerbeds through digging, tilling, and cultivating. Maintain beds by watering, mulching, weeding, and deadheading plants as needed. Prune shrubs, hedges, and flowers to encourage growth and maintain shape. Monitor plants for pests and diseases; assist with applying fertilizers, herbicides, and insecticides as directed. Maintain flower beds throughout the year, adjusting care practices seasonally. Remove debris, weeds, and litter to ensure neat, safe, and attractive beds. Safely operate and maintain hand and power tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and tillers. Assist with general landscaping duties, including sod installation and occasional hardscape support. Incorporate safe work practices daily and demonstrate regular, reliable attendance. Work collaboratively with teammates to complete projects efficiently and support company goals.

Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior experience in floral or landscaping, horticulture, or grounds maintenance preferred but not required. Physical Requirements Full range of mobility in upper and lower body. Ability to reach overhead and work in various positions, including stooping, kneeling, bending, squatting, and standing for extended periods. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 30 pounds throughout the workday. Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
