Job Overview We are seeking a grounds technician to join our team in McCormick. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to creating and sustaining beautiful outdoor environments. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of landscape care, and enhancing the aesthetic appeal of our clients' properties. Your expertise in lawn care, gardening, and landscaping will be essential in delivering exceptional results. Duties 1. Handles daily the meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings. 2. Remove trash from office areas and apartment community perimeter on a daily basis 3. Assists in the preparation of market ready units, including remove trash from vacant apartments (trash outs) prior to make-ready 4. Assists Maintenance Supervisor/Property Manager and/or perform assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner 5. Assists in the cleaning of available apartments and or models 6. Assists maintenance team with snow removal (If applicable) 7. Reports any maintenance concerns for repairs on available apartments, models, clubhouse, and/or common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor 8. Meticulously maintains curb appeal 9. Delivers communication documentation to residents 10. Performs, and reports on, all work according to the safety standards of the company, OSHA and health codes. Perform work area clean-up on a weekly basis 11. Handles other duties as requested Education & Experience
- Requires skill and knowledge equivalent to a high school diploma.
- Must be able to work a flex schedule and be on call for emergencies on weekends, evenings, and holidays.
