Job Description

Job Summary:
The Grounds Crew is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and professional playing field and stadium environment. This role ensures the field is properly prepared before, during, and after games, while responding to on-field emergencies and assisting with general operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Remain stationed in the grounds crew "pit" area or grounds locker room during games. Respond promptly to on-field emergencies, including field issues or weather-related situations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grounds crew shop and "pit" area. Fuel, clean, and perform routine maintenance on vehicles. Wash bases regularly and maintain the American flag. Pick up debris and weed the warning track area. Assist with batting practice breakdown. Support pre-game field preparation, including raking, dragging, watering, lining, and grooming the field. Participate in mid-inning field drags (3rd and 6th innings). Repair the mound, pitching plate, and bullpen areas. Pull tarps and use squeegees as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds. Must have good vision, and be able to talk, hear, walk, run, and stand for extended periods. Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold. Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities
