A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

  • CFs & CCCs Young Talkers LLC Myrtle Beach, South Carolina Share Save Job Apply for This Job SLP Position at the Beach with $2,000 sign on bonus Are you looking for a position at the beach with a 3 day weekend every weekend in a position where you can really make a difference with one-on-one therapy?
!! Young Talkers is a private pediatric and adult speech-language pathology therapy clinic located in beautiful Myrtle Beach, SC about 2 miles from the beach. The clinic has been owned and operated in Myrtle Beach by a Speech-Language Pathologist for 19 years. This is a woman owned business. Our clinic provides all of the Speech-Language Pathologists with a significant amount of clinical speech-language pathology treatment and testing materials, in addition to IPads issued to the individual SLPs. We also have an equipped gym with sensory equipment such as swings, trampolines, tunnels, tents, and slides to be used and incorporated during the speech therapy sessions. We are offering a very competitive salary/benefits package with flexible schedules including the option of Fridays off. We are hiring for both FULL TIME and
PART TIME SLP
positions!! We also are offering flexible and part-time independent contracting positions with ability to have flexible scheduling.

We have a great team of Speech-Language Pathologists that work together to support each other. Our philosophy is to involve the families in the treatment to maximize the child's or adult's potential progress. Our diverse caseload could include children with Autism spectrum disorders, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, feeding disorders, phonological/articulation disorders, cochlear implants, language disorders, fluency disorders, and other disorders. The full-time job position will require the provision of speech-language pathology services for ages birth to 18 years old in a clinic, school setting, or home environment (EI) with the primary setting for all of the SLPs being in the clinical environment. We do have the opportunity and option to offer experience with adults, as well for those who are interested in gaining experience in this area or who really enjoy working with this population as well. The adults are seen in our clinic in the areas of voice, swallowing, and language including brain injury and CVA. Our adult patients are seen for therapy in our Myrtle Beach office, as well as a new office in Pawleys Island. The position will mainly be in the clinical setting. We are able to provide individualized one-on-one sessions to maximize the potential for progress and allow for the establishment of a great rapport with the patients and families.
