McCall-Thomas Engineering Company is seeking a 1099 (Contractor) Groundhand for work requiring require travel in the Southeast, with current projects in SC, GA and NC. Benefits are not offered for contract (1099) hires, but if this position transitions to a regular full-time employee of McCall-Thomas, benefits would be available at the time of transition. The primary responsibilities for this role: Work as a part of an aerial fiber line crew Load, unload, layout and prep tools/supplies/equipment/materials needed at each job site Assist as required in all manual labor aspects of the project as directed by the Lineman, Lead, or Supervisor Handle physically demanding construction duties as needed
