Overview Join our dynamic landscaping team as a Landscaper and bring outdoor spaces to life with your skill, energy, and passion for horticulture! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful, functional landscapes by performing a variety of groundskeeping tasks. Your expertise will help create inviting outdoor environments that enhance property aesthetics and ensure safety. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, develop your skills, and contribute to vibrant community spaces. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to keep grounds pristine. Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as power tools, lawnmowers, trimmers safely and efficiently. Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Identify plants, trees, and shrubs to support healthy growth and landscape design. Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and planting to promote safety and aesthetics. Apply pesticides and fertilizers responsibly following safety protocols to protect plants and the environment. Assist with hardscape projects such as installing pathways, patios, or retaining walls when needed. Requirements Proven outdoor work experience with a strong understanding of landscaping practices. Mechanical knowledge related to operating landscape equipment and power tools safely. Familiarity with plant identification, horticulture principles, and lawn care techniques. Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and maintenance. Ability to follow safety protocols diligently during all tasks. Experience with grounds maintenance including snow plowing during winter months is a plus. Excellent physical stamina for lifting, bending, digging, and working in various weather conditions. Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
