Job Description
Job Summary This energetic position involves working outdoors in all weather conditions to perform a variety of landscaping, lawn care, and maintenance tasks. You'll work with a wide range of tools and equipment while contributing to the maintaining of commercial landscaping contracts and more. If you're dependable, punctual, hard-working and able to work outside in various weather conditions, this opportunity may be for you! Responsibilities Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers, as well as hardscape features such as patios and walkways Perform lawn care duties such as mowing, edging, trimming, and aerating to maintain healthy turf Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like pruning, hedge trimming, and soil preparation Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure optimal watering efficiency Conduct landscape maintenance activities including fertilizing, weed control, and seasonal clean-up Maintain safety standards by inspecting tools and equipment regularly and adhering to safety protocols at all times Experience Prior experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred Familiarity with land construction or hardscape installation enhances your ability to contribute effectively Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery safely and efficiently Mechanical knowledge or experience with equipment maintenance is advantageous Strong work ethic with the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials when needed Enthusiasm for learning new skills related to landscape maintenance, tree care, snow plowing, or irrigation systems Experience trailering is a plus! Clean drivers' license & legal ability to work are required
