Job Description

The purpose of this position is to ensure the entire school campus and supporting equipment are maintained in an efficient, safe and orderly condition. The position will perform general maintenance tasks, during off-seasons, as directed by the principal. The incumbent will perform a variety of tasks. Responsible for accomplishing assigned work in a safe and efficient manner with limited supervision. Make decisions regarding repair, replacement, modification, and/or preventative maintenance based on experience. Must possess a working knowledge of turf maintenance to include fertilizing, mowing disease control and irrigation. Must be able to properly operate various types of lawn care machinery to include small tractors and other powered equipment. 260 days/8 hours per day
