Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic landscape maintenance team as a Lawn Care & Landscape Team Member and be a vital part of transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments. This energetic role offers the opportunity to work outdoors, applying your skills in lawn care, landscaping, and grounds maintenance. You'll engage in a variety of tasks that keep landscapes thriving and visually appealing, all while adhering to safety protocols and utilizing a wide range of tools and equipment. Responsibilities Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, power tools, excavators, and irrigation systems to maintain lawns, gardens, and hardscape features. Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming trees and shrubs, planting, watering, fertilizing Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and health of landscape features. Manage irrigation systems to ensure efficient watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed.. Conduct routine inspections of landscapes for hazards or maintenance needs; perform repairs or report issues promptly. Assist with snow plowing or outdoor winter maintenance when seasonal conditions require extra support. Qualifications Prior outdoor work experience or background in grounds maintenance or landscaping is preferred. Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment operation and basic repairs. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators or tree trimmers. Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant identification and care practices. Ability to operate irrigation systems effectively and troubleshoot common issues. Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence during all outdoor activities. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new techniques in landscape maintenance and hardscape installation.
