Job Description
Rogers Lawn Care is looking for a dependable, hardworking Landscape Laborer / Weed Eater Operator to join our mowing crew. The primary responsibility for this position will be weed eating/trimming, along with helping the crew complete routine lawn maintenance. We are looking for someone who can work efficiently and pay attention to detail. Responsibilities
- Weed eat/trim around homes, buildings, fences, trees, landscaping, ditches, and other areas mowers cannot reach
- Use backpack blowers to clean sidewalks, driveways, porches, and other areas after mowing
- Assist with general mowing and lawn maintenance as needed
- Load, unload, and properly care for equipment
- Work outdoors in heat and changing weather conditions What We're Looking For
- Dependable and shows up on time and ready to work
- Able to safely and efficiently operate a commercial weed eater
- Able to keep up with a mowing crew throughout the workday
- Takes pride in doing clean, detailed work
- Able to follow instructions and work well with a crew
- Comfortable performing physical outdoor work for extended periods
- Lawn care or landscaping experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider someone who is hardworking and willing to learn
- Reliable transportation to and from work
