Overview Join our dynamic groundskeeping team as a Grounds Maintenance Technician, where your expertise will help create and maintain beautiful, functional outdoor spaces. You'll be instrumental in supporting the aesthetic appeal and health of outdoor environments through skilled maintenance and landscaping practices. Responsibilities Perform routine landscape maintenance including mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to uphold high standards of appearance and health. Operate groundskeeping equipment such as lawn mowers, power tools, chainsaws, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently. Use hand tools and power tools for tasks like aeration, fertilizing, pest control, and soil preparation. Perform routine equipment maintenance to ensure all tools and machinery are in excellent working condition for ongoing use. Requirements Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices including lawn care, gardening, horticulture, and general groundskeeping. Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as chainsaws, power tools, and company vehicles safely following all safety protocols. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling tasks, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to grounds maintenance and landscaping projects. Valid driver's license with experience operating grounds maintenance vehicles preferred.
