Job Description
Lawn & Landscape Crew Member — Murfreesboro, TN $17-20/hour | Seasonal (August-November) | Friday-Monday, 8:30-5:00 | Winter work available The Schedule (read this first — it's the best part) Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday — 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Four days. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are yours. No 5 AM wake-ups. No on-call nights. You know your hours a week in advance. If you're in school, working another job, or just want a three-day weekend every single week — this schedule is hard to beat. Tuesdays are occasionally added as makeup days when rain puts us behind. The person hiring you is the person who'll be working beside you all day. We are not the cheapest company in Murfreesboro and we don't try to be. We do precise, high-quality work on properties our clients are proud of. What You'll Do Mow, edge, trim, and blow residential and commercial properties to a high standard Operate commercial mowers, string trimmers, edgers, and blowers safely Landscape maintenance — pruning, mulching, bed work, cleanups Load, unload, and maintain equipment daily Represent TN Lawnsmiths professionally on every property What We're Looking For Reliable. You show up on time, every day. This matters more to us than experience. You care about the details. You notice a missed strip or a sloppy edge, and it bothers you. Physically capable. Outdoor work in Tennessee heat. It's real work and we won't pretend otherwise. Reliable transportation to Murfreesboro by 8:30 AM Valid driver's license preferred Commercial equipment experience is a plus — but work ethic beats experience. We'll train the right person. What We Offer $17-20/hour — paid weekly by direct deposit, on time, every time 32 hours most weeks, up to 40 when we add a Tuesday Overtime at time-and-a-half for any hours over 40 in a week Four-day work week — Tuesday through Thursday off Company-paid lunch once a week if you're not late and don't miss a day Real training on professional commercial equipment Winter opportunity: we're launching a snow and ice division. Strong performers will be offered continued work through the winter season. A boss who works alongside you, not one who watches from the truck The Honest Part This is a seasonal position running from August through the end of November , when grass growth stops. We're telling you that up front because we'd rather be straight with you than surprise you in November. For the right person, this doesn't have to end there — snow and ice work runs through winter, and we bring good people back every spring.
