Assistant Porter/Groundskeeper Elmdale RV Park Abilene, TX Job Details Full-time $15 - $17 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Grounds maintenance and landscaping equipment operation Safe lifting practices Power washer Leaf blowers Lawnmowers Full Job Description We are seeking a dependable Assistant Porter / Groundskeeper to help maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and overall condition of our RV community. This hands-on position supports groundskeeping, facility upkeep, and general park operations to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Mow, trim, edge, and maintain park landscaping and common areas Clean and maintain restrooms, laundry facilities, and community spaces Empty trash receptacles and assist with waste removal Help prepare RV sites for new resident arrivals Assist with light maintenance, repairs, painting, and cleanup projects Safely operate landscaping equipment and tools Report maintenance, safety, and irrigation issues as needed
Qualifications:
Strong work ethic and attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or on a team Ability to perform physical labor outdoors and lift up to 50 lbs. Experience with landscaping or maintenance equipment preferred Valid driver's license preferred
Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
