Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and be willing to learn a range of skills related to landscape maintenance and care. This role involves working with various hand tools, power tools, and machinery to ensure the upkeep of residential and commercial properties. The Landscape Laborer will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to creating and maintaining beautiful landscapes. Main Responsibilities
  • Trims brushes and tree suckers, picks up debris and branches and moves them to brush pile
  • Ensuring good health of grass, brushes and trees
  • Cutting down small trees per manager's instructions
  • Checks for ants, termites and other pest infestation and reports back to manager
  • Picks up loose trash
  • Minds resort's appearance and functionality, keeping it neat and tidy Other Responsibilities
  • Light plumbing repairs
  • Maintaining tools and equipment
  • keeping all clean and in good condition
  • Maintaining the employee shop, restroom, and lunch room
  • Checks for work orders with supervisor and office
  • Attending training as requested by manager Requirements
  • Driver's license
  • 18 years and older
  • Zero turn mower, Weed-eater, Trimmers, Leaf Blower
  • Ability to perform manual labor outside for extended periods
  • Lifts 50 (75) pounds and handles the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, lifting, pulling, and climbing (stamina, endurance and strength)
  • Safety of operating and maintaining tools and machinery/OSHA regulations
  • Use of hand tools and power equipment
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience of 1 year preferred
  • Good communication skills, following of written and verbal instructions, fluent
