Duties Operate lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and power tools to maintain pristine lawns and landscapes Perform landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, fertilizing, and mulching to promote plant health and aesthetic appeal Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed Conduct groundskeeping activities like leaf removal, snow plowing, and debris clearing to keep outdoor areas safe and tidy Identify plants, pests, and diseases to implement appropriate horticultural treatments or pesticide management strategies Maintain hardscape features such as walkways, patios, and retaining walls for safety and visual appeal Follow safety protocols rigorously while operating equipment and handling chemicals or pesticides Requirements Proven outdoor work experience with grounds maintenance or landscaping preferred Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and power tools for safe operation and troubleshooting Strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices including mowing, tree care, gardening, and irrigation system management Ability to identify various plants, pests, and diseases related to horticulture Knowledge of pesticide management procedures and safety standards Excellent physical stamina for lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions Familiarity with hardscape installation and maintenance is a plus Commitment to safety protocol adherence and environmentally responsible practices Join us in creating stunning outdoor spaces that inspire community pride!
