Crew Member - Synthetic Turf Installer Overview TurfTex is one of the leading Turf installers in Greater Houston area. We specialize in premium residential, commercial, sports field, and playground turf installations. We're looking for dependable, hardworking crew members with synthetic turf installation experience who take pride in quality workmanship. If you enjoy working outdoors, operating equipment, and being part of a professional crew that builds high-end projects, we'd like to talk with you. There is room for advancement into Crew Lead and Foreman positions for the right individuals. Responsibilities Install synthetic turf on residential, commercial, playground, and sports field projects. Prepare job sites, including excavation, base installation, grading, and compaction. Cut, seam, secure, and finish synthetic turf installations. Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely. Load, unload, and maintain company tools, equipment, and materials. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site. Work efficiently with the crew to complete projects on schedule while maintaining TurfTex's quality standards. Qualifications Previous synthetic turf installation experience is strongly preferred. Experience installing base, grading, seaming, and infill is highly valued. Experience operating skid steers or mini skid steers is a plus. Ability to safely operate power tools and construction equipment. Ability to lift 75+ pounds repeatedly. Comfortable working outdoors in the Texas heat. Reliable transportation to and from work. Valid driver's license preferred. Ability to work overtime when needed. Strong work ethic with attention to detail. Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
