Landscaping & Tree Service Position Overview We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and safety-minded Tree Climber / Groundsman to join our growing landscaping and tree service team. This position will work alongside our tree crew to safely and efficiently perform tree trimming, removals, pruning, brush cleanup, and general tree and landscape maintenance. The ideal candidate is comfortable working outdoors, working at heights, operating equipment, and working as part of a team. Responsibilities Safely climb trees using proper climbing techniques and equipment Perform tree trimming, pruning, removals, and limb cutting Assist with rigging and lowering branches and tree sections Operate chainsaws, pole saws, chippers, blowers, and other tree-care equipment Work as a Groundsman to support climbers and crew members Safely manage ropes, rigging equipment, and work zones Feed brush and limbs into the chipper Maintain a clean and safe job site Load, haul, and dispose of brush, logs, and debris Assist with landscaping and general property cleanup when needed Perform routine maintenance and proper care of tools and equipment Follow all company safety procedures and industry best practices Communicate effectively with crew members, supervisors, and customers Qualifications Previous tree service, landscaping, or outdoor labor experience Climbing experience is a must Ability to safely work at heights and in physically demanding conditions Ability to lift and carry heavy materials Comfortable working in hot, cold, and changing weather conditions Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to follow directions and work well with a team Must be safety-conscious and willing to learn Valid driver's license preferred Bilingual is a plus What We're Looking For We want someone who takes pride in their work, shows up ready to work, and is willing to learn and grow with the company. Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding outdoor position. The ability to work safely at heights and around heavy equipment is essential. Pay is based on experience.
