Overview Get Casita is seeking a reliable, hands-on Groundskeeper & Outdoor Maintenance Technician to help maintain a small vacation-rental property near Medina Lake. This is an ideal role for someone local to the Lakehills area who is comfortable working independently and taking ownership of outdoor property upkeep.

The goal is simple:

keep the property clean, maintained, functional, and guest-ready without requiring constant supervision. Responsibilities Mow and weed-eat grass and overgrown vegetation Maintain areas inside and outside fenced guest spaces Pull, spray, and manage weeds that cannot be handled with normal mowing Edge and clean up around buildings, decks, fencing, gravel, and outdoor amenities Blow or remove grass clippings and debris from guest areas Maintain gravel, pathways, and landscaped areas Trim small bushes, branches, and vegetation as needed Inspect the exterior of the property for maintenance issues Keep patios, seating areas, firepit areas, and outdoor spaces presentable and stocked Perform basic outdoor repairs and handyman work when needed Assist with minor items such as locks, gates, fence hardware, fixtures, and similar repairs Check the stock-tank pool/hot-tub/outdoor amenities for obvious problems Remove trash or debris left around the property Complete occasional storm or weather cleanup Send before-and-after photos when work is completed Immediately report anything damaged, unsafe, leaking, broken, or requiring professional repair What We're Looking For You should be dependable, responsive, and capable of seeing something that needs attention and handling it instead of waiting for detailed instructions.

You must have:

Reliable transportation Your own basic lawn/yard equipment Experience with mowing, weed eating, landscaping, groundskeeping, property maintenance, or similar work Ability to work independently Reliable communication by text Ability to send photos after completing work Attention to detail, especially in areas guests will see Dependability when a specific completion date is agreed upon Experience with Airbnb, vacation rentals, property management, ranch/property maintenance, pools, landscaping, or handyman work is a plus. Schedule This is ongoing part-time/as-needed work , not a full-time position.

Work may include:

Routine grounds maintenance Pre-guest property preparation Periodic landscaping projects Maintenance between bookings Occasional urgent exterior issues There is potential for additional work for someone who proves reliable and can handle broader property-maintenance responsibilities. Compensation Paid per visit, project, or agreed scope of work. Compensation will depend on the work required and experience.
