Full Job Description Job Description:
Responsible for assisting crew with tasks as required to perform overhead service and construction projects i.e. gathering and assembling material required to complete tasks at multiple locations. Not qualified for energized work or to operate equipment. Position is 5 day work week, 40-50 hours and on call as needed, travel may also be required
Minimum Requirements:
No previous experience required. Must have mechanical aptitude. Requires basic skills in math. Must be able to fluently read, write, speak and comprehend English. Requires high level of attention to detail. Must follow all safe work practices. If not certified, will be required to attend certification courses. Must be computer literate. May be required to work weekends, evenings and holidays. Based on the nature of work at Standard Utility, even if not driving company vehicles, all employees are required to have a valid Texas Driver License in good standing throughout their employment.
Preferred Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Additional formal or occupational education focused on electrical services and construction is helpful. State wide travel preferable.
