This vital role ensures a welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and clients by performing a variety of custodial and groundskeeping duties. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to adhering to safety protocols while delivering exceptional maintenance services. This position offers an engaging opportunity to contribute to a well-maintained, safe, and attractive environment. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents. Operate floor buffers, scrubbers, and other custodial machinery to maintain floors in pristine condition. Handle chemical agents safely by following all chemical handling safety procedures and maintaining proper storage practices. Conduct outdoor groundskeeping activities such as lawn mowing, landscaping, pruning, snow removal, and debris cleanup to keep grounds tidy and inviting. Wash company vehicles Assist with light maintenance tasks including residential painting, minor repairs, and facilities upkeep to support overall building functionality. Use manual handling techniques for heavy lifting of supplies or equipment while following safe lifting practices to prevent injury. Maintain safety protocol adherence during all cleaning and groundskeeping activities to ensure a secure environment for everyone on site Prior custodial or janitorial experience in commercial or industrial settings is highly preferred. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and pressure washers. Experience handling chemical agents safely in accordance with safety procedures is essential. Knowledge of facilities maintenance tasks including basic repairs and painting is a plus. Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while following proper manual handling techniques. Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when needed. Previous groundskeeping or porter experience that involved outdoor maintenance tasks is advantageous.
