Right now, we need a heavy hitter who can jump immediately onto our General Tree Care (GTC) crew—managing ground operations, handling complex rigging, and utilizing climbing skills. However, as we rapidly expand our Collin County footprint, this role comes with a clear, fast-tracked trajectory: The goal is for this individual to transition into our PHC and Lawn Care divisions full-time in 2027. Ground Operations:

Site Management:

Act as the backbone of our 2- to 4-person tree crews. Ensure safe drop zones, manage traffic control, and protect public safety.

Rigging & Technical Work:

Utilize advanced rigging techniques to safely lower heavy wood.

Climbing & Aerial Support:

Utilize your climbing experience or assist climbers in the canopy, performing precision pruning and removals.

Equipment Mastery:

Safely operate and maintain gas-powered saws, pole saws, wood chippers, and aerial lift equipment. Plant Health Care (PHC)

Operations:

Diagnostics:

Identify common ornamental tree and shrub issues on residential and commercial properties in the Plano/Frisco area.

Treatments:

Execute specialized PHC services, including tree and shrub spray applications, soil injections, and deep root fertilization.

Equipment Maintenance:

Operate and maintain specialized PHC equipment, such as spray rigs, backpack sprayers, and air spades.

Client Relations:

Serve as the on-site face of JTE. Educate high-end homeowners on plant health and identify upselling opportunities.

Requirements Experience:

Prior experience in General Tree Care operations as a groundsman, rigger, or climber. Climbing experience is highly preferred !

Technical Knowledge:

Strong working knowledge of ANSI safety standards and heavy rigging techniques. Drive for

A genuine interest in learning the agronomic side of the business and stepping into a dedicated PHC/Lawn Care role by 2027.

Physical Capability:

Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly, navigate uneven terrain, and work outdoors in the Texas heat.

The Basics:

Must be at least 21 years of age , hold a High School Diploma or GED, and possess a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record .

Bonus Points:
