Qualifications 0 to 12 months of experience as a Groundman or in a related outdoor labor position. Basic knowledge of the tools and equipment commonly used in tree care and vegetation management operations. Ability to safely operate chainsaws and wood chippers while performing ground operations in accordance with company safety standards. Ability to maintain a clean and organized work site by removing debris, processing limbs and branches, and using rakes and blowers to complete site cleanup. Ability to inspect, operate, and perform routine maintenance on assigned tools and equipment. Willingness and ability to respond to after-hours emergency callouts, including storm restoration and other emergency response work. Physical ability to perform strenuous manual labor, including lifting, bending, walking on uneven terrain, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to successfully pass required pre-employment and/or random drug screenings in accordance with company policy. Demonstrates a dependable work ethic, positive attitude, and a strong willingness to learn new skills, follow direction, and grow within the company.
