Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscaper to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining beautiful, healthy landscapes that enhance the aesthetic appeal and functionality of various outdoor spaces. Your expertise will help transform outdoor environments through skilled landscaping, grounds maintenance, and plant care. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, develop your skills in horticulture and landscape management, and contribute to vibrant community Spaces Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to ensure well-kept grounds. Operate grounds maintenance and landscaping equipment such as power tools, lawn mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently. Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers to ensure proper care and health of landscape features. Manage irrigation systems to optimize water use and maintain healthy plant growth. Apply pesticides and fertilizers following safety protocols to protect plants from pests and diseases. Execute hardscape projects including the installation of pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures. Conduct seasonal tasks such as snow plowing during winter months to keep outdoor areas accessible and safe. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and tools. Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, and groundskeeping. Skilled in the operation of hand tools, power tools, and specialized landscaping machinery. Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture practices, and pest management techniques. Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting. Ability to follow safety protocols rigorously while working outdoors with potentially hazardous equipment.
