You will work outdoors in all weather conditions, contributing to the creation and upkeep of stunning landscapes that enhance community and client properties. Responsibilities Assist with landscape installation projects, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing hardscape features such as patios and walkways Perform lawn care activities like mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to maintain healthy turf Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as trimming, pruning, digging, and landscape shaping Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure efficient watering of landscapes Conduct landscape maintenance routines including mulching, pruning, and seasonal clean-up tasks like snow plowing when necessary Help with tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and supporting healthy growth Maintain equipment including excavators, lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, and other landscaping machinery in good working condition Transportation to San Marcos, Georgetown and other areas surrounding Austin, TX is needed. Requirements Basic mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment effectively Experience or familiarity with lawn care, gardening, or landscape maintenance preferred Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor tasks Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and landscaping machinery such as excavators is a plus Strong understanding of horticulture principles and landscape construction techniques Ability to follow safety protocols diligently when handling equipment like chainsaws or operating machinery Willingness to learn about tree care practices including trimming and health assessments Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for collaborating effectively on projects This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in landscaping while contributing to beautiful outdoor environments.
