Job Description

SHIFT HOURS
6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
MONDAY - FRIDAY SHIFT PAY
$18.85 BENEFITS
AVAILABLE DAY ONE PRIMARY FUNCTION
Primarily responsible for the cultivation and care of grounds/yard surrounding facility. Performs all work in compliance with company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
Under minimal supervision, ensure grounds/yard surrounding facility are well maintained Perform landscaping duties such as mowing, planting, weeding, fertilizing, pruning etc to ensure plants, shrubs and trees remain healthy Perform minor facility exterior maintenance such as sweeping/clearing sidewalks, painting, lightbulb replacement and/ or other minor structural repairs etc. Assist others when requested in the repair and maintenance of grounds and facility Work in compliance with all company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Previous experience in landscaping a plus Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Follow departmental and company safety policies and programs Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times in areas where required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work in hot, wet and/or cold environment Ability to stand up to 8 hours Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
