Property Grounds Keeper and Small Project Specialist Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Property Grounds Keeper to maintain and enhance our outdoor spaces through landscaping, grounds maintenance, and small-scale property improvement projects. This role involves operating various landscaping and maintenance equipment, managing wildlife and agricultural exemptions, and supporting animal care initiatives. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of working on-site with the possibility of both temporary and permanent stays to ensure the property's aesthetic appeal and functional integrity.

Duties:

Perform grounds maintenance including mowing, landscaping, and irrigation system management to ensure a well-kept outdoor environment. Operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently for routine upkeep and enhancement projects. Manage pesticide application in accordance with safety standards to protect plant health while minimizing environmental impact. Lead small-scale property improvement projects, such as planting beds, fencing, or minor structural repairs. Oversee wildlife management efforts and handle exemption procedures related to agriculture or wildlife regulations. Provide animal care as needed, ensuring the wellbeing of any onsite animals. Conduct site inspections regularly to identify maintenance needs or potential hazards. Support project planning and execution for property enhancements or modifications. Document activities through photos and reports to track progress and maintain records.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or related outdoor maintenance roles. Ability to operate landscaping tools and equipment safely. Knowledge of irrigation systems, pesticide management, and wildlife/exemption regulations preferred. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in outdoor environments. Flexibility for on-site stays or permanent residence if required for project needs. Basic animal care knowledge is desirable but not mandatory. Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Pay:

$15.00 - $29.66 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 24.0 per week
