Your hands-on work will involve operating groundskeeping equipment, performing lawn and garden care, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Responsibilities Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other power tools to maintain lawns, gardens, and landscape features Perform landscape maintenance tasks including edging, pruning, planting, and mulching to enhance aesthetic appeal Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and turf health Identify various plants, trees, and pests to support healthy landscape growth and pest management strategies Follow safety protocols rigorously during all outdoor work to prevent accidents and ensure team safety Assist with snow plowing and hardscape projects during seasonal changes to keep properties accessible and attractive Maintain grounds equipment through routine inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance Requirements Prior outdoor work experience or landscaping background preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential Mechanical knowledge of landscaping tools and grounds maintenance equipment is a plus Familiarity with plant identification, horticulture practices, and pesticide management is advantageous Ability to operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and power tools safely and effectively Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence in all tasks performed outdoors Good physical stamina for lifting, bending, digging, and working in various weather conditions Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward learning new skills in grounds maintenance and landscaping Embark on a rewarding career where your efforts directly contribute to beautiful outdoor environments!
