You will work outdoors in all weather conditions, utilizing your skills to support landscape projects, plant care, irrigation systems, and hardscape features. Responsibilities Assist with landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to keep grounds pristine. Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as power tools, lawnmowers, trimmers, and hand tools, skid steers, excavators safely and efficiently. Support planting activities by identifying plants, preparing soil, planting new greenery, and maintaining existing flora. Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and making necessary adjustments or repairs. Help install and repair hardscape features like pathways, retaining walls, or patios under supervision. Follow safety protocols diligently during all tasks to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members. Perform general groundskeeping duties such as debris removal, fertilizing, and seasonal cleanups. Experience Previous outdoor work experience or landscaping background preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Bilingual (bonus) Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices including mowing, gardening, plant identification, and horticulture principles. Familiarity with the operation of grounds maintenance and landscaping equipment such as power tools and irrigation systems. Mechanical knowledge helpful for troubleshooting equipment issues or minor repairs. Ability to adhere to safety protocols consistently while working with hand tools and power equipment in outdoor environments. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately for plant care and landscape projects. Enthusiasm for outdoor work combined with a proactive attitude towards learning new skills in groundskeeping and landscaping.
