Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Landscaper and unleash your passion for transforming outdoor spaces into vibrant, beautiful environments! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing landscapes through hands-on work with various tools and equipment. Your expertise will help create inviting gardens, pristine lawns, and stunning hardscape features that delight clients and elevate outdoor aesthetics. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your skills in landscape maintenance, gardening, and construction while working outdoors in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Duties Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to ensure lush, healthy grass. Maintain landscape features such as flower beds, shrubs, trees, and lawns through pruning, trimming, planting, and watering. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks like planting, edging, and debris removal. Use machinery such as excavators and snow plows to complete larger projects or seasonal clean-up duties. Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering of landscapes. Construct or repair hardscape elements like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and fencing to enhance outdoor spaces. Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and health assessments to promote safety and growth. Perform regular landscape maintenance tasks such as mulching, raking leaves, and snow removal during winter months. Collaborate with team members on landscaping projects to ensure timely completion while adhering to safety standards. Maintain equipment through routine inspections and cleaning to ensure longevity and optimal performance. Experience Proven experience in landscaping or horticulture with knowledge of lawn care techniques and landscape maintenance practices. Familiarity with the use of hand tools such as shovels, pruners, rakes, and hoes; proficiency with power tools including trimmers and blowers. Mechanical knowledge related to operating machinery like excavators or snow plows is a plus. Understanding of irrigation systems installation and repair procedures. Experience in construction or hardscape installation is desirable. Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and health assessment. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor tasks. Strong attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to landscape upkeep.
