Overview Join our dynamic groundskeeping team as a Landscaper/Groundskeeper and play a vital role in maintaining the beauty, safety, and functionality of outdoor spaces. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors in a variety of environments, utilizing your skills in landscape maintenance, gardening, and grounds care. You will be responsible for ensuring that lawns, gardens, and hardscapes are pristine, safe, and inviting for all visitors and users. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as lawnmowers, power tools, hedge trimmers, and snow plows with precision and safety adherence Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as they arise Conduct plant identification to properly care for a variety of flora and identify pests or diseases requiring treatment Apply pesticides or herbicides following safety protocols to protect plants and surrounding environments Maintain hardscape features like pathways, patios, and retaining walls by performing repairs or cleaning as needed Follow safety procedures diligently during outdoor work to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety standards Experience Prior outdoor work experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of landscape maintenance practices including mowing, pruning, planting, and fertilization Mechanical knowledge related to operating power tools, irrigation systems, and grounds equipment safely and effectively Familiarity with plant identification, horticulture principles, and pesticide management techniques Experience with snow plowing or winter grounds upkeep is a plus Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining high safety standards Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks efficiently Join us in creating beautiful outdoor spaces that inspire!
