Job Description
Lawn Maintenance Crew Member - Mowing & Trimming RVA Grounds Management is looking for dependable, hardworking crew members to join our lawn maintenance team. This position involves maintaining residential and commercial properties throughout the Richmond area. We are looking for people who take pride in their work, show up on time, and can work efficiently as part of a crew. Responsibilities Operate commercial zero-turn and stand-on mowers Weed eat and trim around buildings, fences, trees, beds, and other obstacles Edge sidewalks, driveways, curbs, and landscape beds Blow off sidewalks, driveways, parking areas, and other hard surfaces Maintain a clean and professional appearance at each property Perform basic daily equipment checks and help keep equipment clean Load and unload equipment safely Follow crew leader instructions and complete properties efficiently Work outdoors in heat and changing weather conditions Help with other landscaping and property maintenance projects when needed Qualifications Lawn care or landscaping experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person Reliable transportation to the designated meeting/work location Dependable and able to show up on time Comfortable operating lawn equipment and power tools Able to perform physical outdoor work throughout the workday Able to lift 50+ lbs when necessary Must work well with others and follow instructions Must take pride in quality work and customer properties Valid driver's license is a plus Experience operating commercial mowing equipment is a major plus We are looking for people who want consistent work and an opportunity to grow with RVA Grounds Management.
