Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscape Technician to join our dynamic groundskeeping team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through a variety of landscaping, grounds maintenance, and horticultural tasks. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, trimming, and planting to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces. Operate groundskeeping and landscaping equipment such as power tools, lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently. Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers to ensure proper care and pest management. Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to optimize water usage. Apply pesticides and fertilizers following safety protocols to protect plants from pests and diseases. Execute hardscape installations like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures as needed. Follow all safety procedures rigorously during outdoor work to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and tools. Proven experience in landscape maintenance, groundskeeping or gardening roles. Ability to operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and power tools with precision. Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture practices, and pesticide management techniques. Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting. Experience in lawn care including mowing, aeration, fertilization, and overseeding. Understanding of tree care practices including pruning and health assessment. Ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols while working outdoors in various weather conditions. Prior outdoor work experience demonstrating reliability and physical stamina.
