Columbia Super Range (an affiliate of Columbia Athletic Clubs) is looking to hire a Laborer/Golf Range Grounds Crew.

Golf Range Attendant. Reports to :
Maintenance Director Schedule :
Part-Time 2:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Weekdays Job Type:
Part-Time.
Pay:
$20 - $22/hour.
Position Summary:
The Golf Range Attendant serves members and guests by maintaining range conditions and adjoining ground areas. The Golf Range Attendant is not to be on the field at any time without using personal protective equipment. Failure to follow all safety procedures may be cause for dismissal.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Pick and wash balls in accordance with prescribed safety guidelines. Operating automated and heavy machinery as required by the position. Golf carts, utility vehicles, ball washers, leaf blowers, mowers, weed eaters, etc. Empty ashtrays and refill with fresh sand as needed. Picking up any loose trash or cigarette butts off the tee lines area. Collecting baskets and loose rubber tees. Assist Maintenance and Repair staff with duties as needed (mowing greens, maintaining ball pickers). Collect any loose trash around the entrance to the building and from the parking lot. Secure facility and grounds before leaving. Attend regularly scheduled staff meetings. Maintain facility as needed. Other duties as assigned.
Skills And Abilities Required:
Ability to work with little supervision. Effective communication skills, in person, on the phone, and by email. Ability to work as a team player.
Qualifications:
High School student, high school diploma, or G.E.D. Availability to work varied schedules, including nights and weekends. Ability to work heavy machinery including golf carts, utility vehicles, ball washers, leaf blowers, mowers, weed eaters, etc. Ability to work with little or no supervision. Ability to follow directions.
