Landscape Technician (Maintenance & Construction) Ebai's Landscaping LLC - Whidbey Island, WA Build More Than Landscapes. Build a Career. Ebai's Landscaping is seeking dependable, hardworking Landscape Technicians to join our growing team. Whether your experience is in landscape maintenance, landscape construction, or both, we're looking for individuals who take pride in producing high-quality work and want to grow with a company that's raising the standard in the landscaping industry. As a Landscape Technician, you'll work alongside a motivated team completing everything from routine property maintenance to complete outdoor transformations, including grading, retaining walls, sod installation, drainage, planting, and hardscape projects. Responsibilities Landscape Maintenance Mow, edge, trim, and maintain residential, commercial, and HOA properties. Prune trees, shrubs, hedges, and ornamental plants. Perform weed control, hand weeding, and seasonal landscape cleanups. Install mulch, bark, rock, and other landscape materials. Monitor irrigation systems and report or troubleshoot issues. Operate commercial mowers, trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, and other landscaping equipment. Maintain clean, safe, and professional job sites. Landscape Construction Assist with excavation, grading, and site preparation. Install retaining walls, paver patios, walkways, stairs, drainage systems, sod, hydroseed, and planting beds. Install gravel, topsoil, edging, and landscape materials. Operate compact equipment and power tools safely. Read and follow project plans while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Complete projects efficiently while meeting company quality standards. Qualifications Previous landscaping, construction, grounds maintenance, or outdoor labor experience preferred. Valid driver's license preferred. Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Mechanical aptitude and experience operating landscaping equipment is a plus. Basic knowledge of irrigation, plant care, grading, or hardscape installation is beneficial but not required. Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and improve. Dependable, punctual, and able to work well within a team environment. What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience.
