Position Summary:
Responsible for maintaining overall appearance on the exterior of the property buildings, including streets, parking lots and garages, Porte cocheres, lawns, and planting beds.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Promotes superior guest service. Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani. Ensures that outside grounds are kept free of all debris by picking up, raking, blowing, shoveling, or sweeping trash, leaves, or any other debris related items on the premises. Empty outdoor trash receptacles and clean as needed. Assist in snow removal from sidewalks, walkways, and streets using a plow and apply deicer when needed. Operate utility vehicles, pickup trucks, street sweeper vehicles, leaf blowers, pressure washers, and other related tools and equipment. Responsible for cleaning up any petroleum and oil spills, bio's, broken glass, and debris from car accidents. Assist in repair of damaged islands, sign poles, ditch damage. Including raking rocks back into rock beds. Assist in assuring lawn areas are properly watered and in good condition and reporting any unsightly areas to the Lead or Manager. Inspect and clear storm drains. Perform vegetation control as needed. Assist in operation, identifying needed maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must possess a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment . Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours. Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds frequently in tandem with another team member. Must be willing to walk, stoop, bend and lift repeatedly for an 8-hour shift. Must possess a valid Driver's License. Must be willing to work in all outdoor conditions. Must be willing to work in a smoking environment while on the casino floor. Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.
