Job Description

About the Position We're looking for a hardworking, reliable Groundsman to join our tree service crew. This is an entry-level to intermediate position with plenty of room to grow. Your primary responsibility will be supporting the climber and crew by keeping operations running safely and efficiently on the ground. If you're motivated to learn the trade, we'll teach you the skills needed to advance—including climbing and aerial tree work. We invest in people who show up, work hard, and want to build a career in arboriculture. Responsibilities Assist climbers and equipment operators during tree removals and pruning. Operate a wood chipper safely and efficiently. Perform job site cleanup and haul brush and wood. Cut brush and logs with a chainsaw. Manage ropes and assist with rigging from the ground. Help maintain trucks, trailers, chainsaws, and equipment. Follow all company safety procedures and work as part of a team. Qualifications Some experience operating a chainsaw is required. Ability to perform physically demanding work in all weather conditions. Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work on uneven terrain. Valid driver's license is preferred (CDL is a plus but not required). What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience.
