Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Lawn Mowing Crew Leader to oversee and coordinate outdoor grounds maintenance projects. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a crew of lawn care and landscaping technicians during daily operations, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to quality standards Plan and organize lawn mowing schedules, landscape maintenance, and hardscaping construction projects, including irrigation system installation and repairs Operate groundskeeping equipment, company vehicles, and specialized landscaping tools safely and effectively Identify various plants, trees, and groundcover to ensure proper care and maintenance; troubleshoot horticultural issues as needed Oversee irrigation management, including system inspections, repairs, and adjustments to optimize water efficiency Ensure adherence to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies across all outdoor work activities Communicate clearly with clients and team members to coordinate project timelines, address concerns, and provide updates on progress Experience Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or groundskeeping with a strong background in horticulture or gardening Demonstrated supervisory or crew management experience in outdoor or construction settings Knowledge of hardscaping construction projects such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other hardscape features Familiarity with irrigation systems installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance practices Hands-on experience operating grounds maintenance equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and safety gear Ability to identify plants, trees, shrubs, and groundcover species for proper care; understanding of tree care practices is a plus Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams while maintaining high standards of safety and quality in outdoor work environments Join us as a Lawn Mowing Crew Leader to lead dynamic teams in creating beautiful landscapes while advancing your career in grounds management.
