Early mornings, weekdays, and some weekends/holidays About Columbus Country Club Columbus Country Club is entering an exciting new chapter as we make significant investments in our golf course, agronomy, and turf management programs. We are looking for 1-2 reliable, hardworking individuals to join our Grounds Crew this fall and help us continue improving the quality and playing conditions of the golf course. This is a seasonal position starting as soon as possible , with the opportunity to return for the 2027 golf season for the right candidates. The Position Grounds Crew members will report directly to our Lead Grounds Manager and assist with the daily maintenance and improvement of the golf course. This is a hands-on outdoor position that can be a great fit for retirees, college students, or anyone who enjoys working outside and takes pride in seeing the results of their work.

Please note:

Columbus Country Club operates seven days a week during the golf season. This position WILL require some weekend and holiday morning shifts. Weekend availability is required, although employees will not necessarily work every weekend. Responsibilities Operate equipment used for mowing greens, tees, fairways, and rough Assist with fall turf projects, including topdressing, seeding, and fertilizing Rake and maintain bunkers Assist with daily course setup, including changing hole locations and moving tee markers Perform general landscaping, string trimming, and debris removal Assist with irrigation monitoring and basic maintenance Help maintain a clean, organized grounds maintenance facility Perform other golf course maintenance duties as assigned by the Lead Grounds Manager What We're Looking For Reliable and able to consistently report for early-morning shifts Available to work some weekends and holidays Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, rain, and cold Physically able to lift 50+ lbs. and regularly bend, stoop, walk, and stand for extended periods Reliable transportation Positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license preferred Previous golf course, landscaping, turf, or grounds maintenance experience is preferred but not required — we will train the right person What We Offer $12 to $15 per hour depending on experience Approximately 20-30 hours per week Flexible scheduling Golf privileges Hands-on training and golf course maintenance experience Potential opportunity to return for the 2027 golf season Opportunity to be part of an exciting period of investment and improvement at Columbus Country Club Apply Today Please submit your resume or a brief summary of your work experience through Indeed.
