Overview Join our dynamic landscaping team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces! This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors in a variety of environments, utilizing your skills in landscape maintenance, groundskeeping, and equipment operation. Whether you're trimming trees, installing hardscapes, or caring for plants, your efforts will directly contribute to the aesthetic appeal and health of our clients' landscapes. This paid position is perfect for individuals passionate about outdoor work and eager to develop their expertise in horticulture and landscape management. Duties Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy, attractive outdoor spaces. Operate groundskeeping and landscaping equipment including power tools, irrigation systems, and ground maintenance machinery safely and efficiently. Perform tree trimming, shrubbery shaping, and hardscape installation to enhance landscape design and safety. Identify various plants, trees, and pests to support proper horticultural practices and pest management strategies. Follow strict safety protocols during all outdoor activities to prevent accidents and promote a safe working environment. Support seasonal tasks such as leaf removal, soil preparation, fertilization, and pesticide application as needed. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge related to landscaping tools and equipment operation. Experience with landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, gardening, pruning, and planting. Familiarity with hand tools such as shovels, pruners, rakes, and power tools like trimmers and blowers. Ability to identify plants accurately and understand basic horticultural principles. Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions with a focus on grounds maintenance. Understanding of safety protocols related to equipment use, chemical handling, and outdoor work environments. This role is ideal for motivated individuals who thrive in outdoor settings and are eager to expand their skills in landscaping while contributing to visually stunning landscapes that clients will love!
Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
